Drug Awareness Month
2–30 May 2026
Raises awareness about substance misuse and promotes healthy, informed choices through education, prevention, and community support.
Drug Awareness Month, running from 2–30 May 2026, is coordinated by the General Conference Department of Health Ministries. The month-long emphasis highlights the importance of promoting healthy lifestyles, preventing substance misuse, and supporting individuals and families affected by addiction.
Throughout the month, members are encouraged to engage in activities that build awareness and strengthen community resilience—such as health talks, workshops, youth-focused discussions, and outreach initiatives. The goal is to equip churches and communities with practical tools that foster wellbeing and reduce the impact of harmful substances.
