Global Youth Day 2026 will be celebrated on Sabbath, 21 March 2026, under the theme “Communion in Action.” This annual day inspires young people around the world to unite in prayer, faith, and service—sharing God’s love through action and community outreach.

General Conference
Global Youth Day (GYD), coordinated by the General Conference Department of Youth Ministries, will take place on Sabbath, 21 March 2026, with the theme “Communion in Action.” Inspired by Acts 4:31, this year’s focus highlights the power of collective prayer and the Holy Spirit working through young people who boldly live and share God’s word.
Launched in 2013, Global Youth Day is a worldwide movement mobilising Adventist youth for service and mission. Each year, millions of young people across more than 150 countries dedicate the day to being “the sermon”—serving their communities through compassion, outreach, and practical acts of kindness that reveal the character of Christ.
Global Youth Day also marks the start of the Youth Week of Prayer, as ambassadors and young adults continue the mission through preaching, teaching, and mentoring, embodying the vision of Total Youth Involvement (TYI) within the church’s wider Total Member Involvement initiative.
