The first Quarterly Day of Prayer and Fasting of 2026, organised by the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, will take place on Sabbath, 3 January 2026. It provides an opportunity for members worldwide to start the year by seeking God through prayer, fasting, and reflection.
Each quarterly observance focuses on personal renewal, unity, and mission, encouraging individuals, families, and churches to dedicate time to prayer and invite the Holy Spirit’s leading. Many choose to fast—from food, social media, or other distractions—to deepen their connection with God and focus on spiritual growth.
