Women’s Day of Prayer will be observed on Sabbath, 7 March 2026. First established in 1990, this special day invites women to unite in prayer, spiritual reflection, and fellowship, strengthening their faith and connection with God and one another.

General Conference
The International Women’s Day of Prayer, organised by the General Conference Department of Women’s Ministries, will be held on Sabbath, 7 March 2026. Celebrated annually on the first Sabbath of March, it encourages women around the world to deepen their relationship with God and with each other through prayer and service.
Since its introduction, this global day has provided an opportunity for women to come together in worship, fasting, and intercession—uplifting one another and their communities in faith. Churches are encouraged to plan prayer gatherings, sermons, workshops, or special services led by women to celebrate the day.
