Burnt Oak Romanian SDA Group Established with Inaugural Sabbath Service

The Burnt Oak Romanian Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Group has been officially established. On 1 March 2025, the group held its first Sabbath service, marking a significant milestone after years of mission work and prayer. Now officially recognised, it provides a spiritual home for believers in the area.

This development is the result of dedicated evangelistic efforts in recent years, including Reflecting Hope, Sidewalk Evangelism, Health Expo events, and public evangelistic campaigns. In response to these initiatives, around 20 individuals have committed to supporting and sustaining this ministry.

A total of 21 people gathered for the inaugural service, where Pastor Bogdan Dumitru delivered a sermon titled “The Lord Wants to Dwell with You”, emphasising God’s desire to be present in every aspect of life. The service concluded with a heartfelt prayer of dedication, entrusting the group to God’s guidance and blessing.

This marks the establishment of the fifth Romanian-speaking Adventist church in London in the last 20 years. The group operates under Watford Romanian SDA Church, with Pastors Bogdan Dumitru and Gabriel Ciocarlan providing spiritual leadership.

The Burnt Oak Romanian SDA Group meets every Saturday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Sangam Centre, 210 Burnt Oak Broadway, Burnt Oak, Edgware, HA8 0AP.

All are warmly invited to join in worship and fellowship.
