BUC Executive Committee Press Release

The Executive Committee of the British Union Conference (BUC) took a voted action to place a hold on all further elected and appointed personnel positions in the short term.

This action has been taken to ensure that the BUC can safeguard itself and its workforce by focusing on the Non-Executive Expert Advisor (NEEA) roles as advertised. This decision was not taken lightly and provides the BUC with the ability to modernise and update its recruitment processes including due diligence and its job requirements. We are still discovering what we need as an organisation and we would ask that you continue to pray for us as we navigate these important issues.

The BUC Executive Committee fully supports the direction which the organisation is moving towards in ensuring that we place people, processes, and policies at the heart of what we do as an organisation.

It is our desire that we proactively demonstrate how we hold our values in an intentional way.

We have listened, we have learnt, we will now leverage.
