Hannah began her professional career working with young people in the church and professionally, she worked as an adviser in connexions where she supported young to plan for their career and life, and also worked as support worker in the leaving care team where they supported young people who had been in care. She decided to train to become a counsellor as she felt the root of what young people were feeling and facing were not being explored but brushed over and wanted to work in a way that would address these needs.
She joined the South England Conference, in 2015, as volunteer trainee counsellor, and started working as a Receptionist and a volunteer counsellor in 2019. Hannah is a qualified counsellor and Trauma specialist and she is passionate about Cornerstone Counselling Service and the work that is done, she enjoys seeing how the service is growing and reaching the community.
Hannah desires is to know and serve God more and allow him to lead her, the church and all communities to address those that have been hurt emotionally in the past to find emotional healing, and empowerment so we can can all be stronger together.
Hannah is originally from Ghana, Married to Ebenezer and they have four children Ezekiel, Zuriel, Jedidiah and Neriah. Hannah enjoys reading, socialising and spending time with her family and friends.
