Our primary objective, in the Men’s Ministries Department, is to support and establish local and existing men’s ministries initiatives that are committed to helping men become “Christ-like” leaders in their home, church and community. The purpose of the department is to connect men of all ages to God, the Bible and other men for the purpose of growing and making supportive connections.
The department is focused on helping men of all ages get closer to Jesus. We have enjoyed helping men come to identify their roles as “Christ-like” and “servant leaders in their homes, communities & churches”. Encouraging men to have deeper relationships with other Christian men, so that we can be accountable to each other, is another element that we concentrate on.
“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”
We believe that men have a passion to equip and empower other men to be role models themselves. For the married man, his wife and children will be the greatest beneficiaries. For the single and young men, we will seek to create an environment that is conducive to building character and setting goals and for recreation.
Helping men achieve their goals is also important to the department and we achieve this in small group meetings and activities. Mentoring the youth is a branch of the department that is vital to our church & mission.
It has been very encouraging to hear positive feedback from wives, mothers, daughters & sisters of the men who participate in our programmes as they see great changes take place.
