With over 29,000 members the South England Conference (SEC) is the largest Seventh-day Adventist Conference within the British Union and Trans-European Division.

The president serves as the spiritual leader, providing direction and leadership for the church's ministry activities to facilitate the accomplishment of its mission. The president also chairs the constituency meetings (sessions), and executive committee (board of trustees).
