SEC Appoints Ann Swaby as new Treasurer

The South England Conference (SEC) Executive Committee, at a meeting on Sunday, 11 December 2022, voted to invite Mrs Ann Oretha Swaby to serve as the new SEC Treasurer.

Swaby has served the SEC as Associate Treasurer for the past three years and comes to the role well-qualified with a wealth of experience. She holds a degree in accounting from the University of West London and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. She became a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) on 23 October 2020.

SEC President Dr Emmanuel Osei says, "we welcome Ann to this position and pray that with your cooperation and God's blessing, the Treasury department will continue to flourish under her leadership."

Osei also paid tribute to the outgoing Treasurer, "Again, we express our heartfelt thanks to Mrs Candy Layson for her sterling work as the Treasurer over the past three years. May the Lord bless the South England Conference as we move from strength to strength."

Swaby assumes the role with effect from 1 January 2023 and says she is humbled to be asked to take on such a significant role and asks for prayers and God's guidance as she leads the Treasury department of the SEC.
