About Juan Carlos Patrick

Juan Patrick was born in the beautiful island of Hispaniola or the Dominican Republic, a Spanish island located in the Caribbean. In his teens Patrick served as deacon, Sabbath School teacher, elder and speaker; at his local church, in his district and on other islands of the Caribbean. Patrick studied Theology and Education at Antillean University in Puerto Rico in Partnership with Andrews University, Michigan, where he held various roles in campus ministry as Youth Director, President of the Student Association and Director of Social Activities- until his graduation in 2004.

After graduating, he served as a high school teacher and chaplain at Bella Vista Adventist Academy and primary school, serving about 300 students. He also served as Youth Pastor at the Bella Vista SDA Church and, later, as Senior Pastor of the same church. During this time, he served as evangelist, conducting church, teens’ and youth revivals, weeks of prayer and conferences in about 38 out of 50 states in the USA.

He completed his postgraduate studies, Theology in Old Testament and Hebrew Bible, at Newbold College in Partnership with the University of Lampeter (today, University of Wales Trinity Saint David). He also completed another master’s degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction from Antillean University in Partnership with Andrews University. After completing his studies, he was called to serve as a pastor in the South England Conference where he has continued since 2010.

He is very thankful to God and the SEC for giving him the opportunity to serve God’s children in the church, out of the church and abroad.
