Young people from Tottenham Lighthouse, Edmonton, Enfield, Leytonstone, and other North London congregations are joining forces for SAVE ME, a youth-led evangelistic initiative supporting One Voice 27. The programme includes digital evangelism training, prayer activities, and a multi-site outreach campaign focused on sharing the gospel and leading people to Christ.

SAVE ME Campaign 2026: Phase 1, which was held at the Leytonstone Church, came to an end on the 8 July. Phase 2, which is youth-led, starts on Sabbath, 18 July until Sabbath, 1 August. It will be held simultaneously at three churches; Edmonton, Enfield and Tottenham Lighthouse. There will be a range of speakers from the SEC, NEC, USA and Jamaica.

In preparation for SAVE ME Campaign: Phase 2, there was a Digital Evangelism Workshop held at Edmonton Church on Sabbath, 23 May 2026 and conducted by Elder Nicolae Boaghi from the East London Romanian Church. On Sabbath, 30 May we began to have daily on-going prayers for SAVE ME Campaign, starting with a Prayer Walk. We were pleasantly surprised at the responses. Some persons shared their telephone numbers for us to keep in touch with them. On that same day, we also launched the Bible Reading Marathon covering Genesis, Exodus, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. A second Prayer Walk was held on Sabbath, 13 June.

On Wednesday, 15 July Tottenham Lighthouse held A Day of Prayer, Fasting & Revival. Prayer, praise and worship started during our daily ‘5am’ Prayer Meeting. The speaker was Pastor Levi Johnson, outgoing Executive Secretary of the Jamaica Union Conference. His message was based on Nehemiah Chapter 1. He reminded us that God is looking for people who are hungering after righteousness. We were encouraged to take a leaf out of Nehemiah’s book, who before he approached the king, went first to the King of Kings. From 12 noon – 2:00pm we had to carve out some time from our busy schedule to pray and read the Word of God. The final session was conducted by our own Pastor Michael Hamilton at the 7:00pm Prayer Meeting. Using Genesis 16 – 19, he used the story of Ishmael and Hagar as an example of people who faced rejection, through no fault of their own. Yet, God saw and heard their cries and they were blessed.

On Sabbath, 18 July in addition to the church service, Tottenham Lighthouse has planned a Wellbeing Day in the park opposite the church, from 2:30 – 4:30pm, offering health checks, literature and books as music plays in the background. On Sunday, 26 July there will be a Community Day in the park and also inside of the church, offering many services and also fun activities for the children. On Sabbath, 1 August at Tottenham Lighthouse there will be a baptism and a baby dedication during the Divine Service. This will be followed by a concert at 5pm. All the participating churches are invited to attend to praise God for His leading through the months of planning and final execution, and also to raise funds for the ADRA Venezuela Earthquake Appeal.

Why not join us for the SAVE ME Campaign 2026? Weekdays it will be at 7:30pm. It will be held online, via Zoom (see below), on Sundays – Tuesdays, and in-person on Wednesdays, Fridays and of course, Sabbaths. Thursday is a rest day.

As we labour for The Master, we are inspired for the mission by His Words, ‘How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?’ Romans 10:14
