550 Gather in Bristol for SEC Adventurer Camporee
The South England Conference (SEC) Adventurer Camporee was held from 22–25 May 2025 at Woodhouse Activity Park, Bristol, bringing together an enthusiastic community of faith, fun, and fellowship under the inspiring theme, Walking with Jesus.
The four-day event drew a total of 550 attendees, including 250 children, alongside parents, leaders, and volunteers. Participants travelled from across the South England Conference to take part in one of the most significant Adventurer gatherings of the year.
A Weekend of Spiritual Decision
The spiritual highlight of the Camporee was the announcement of 14 decisions for baptism — a powerful testimony to the impact of the weekend’s ministry and the movement of the Holy Spirit among the young people and families present.
Keynote speaker Pastor Nicole Gooden captivated audiences throughout the weekend, exploring what it truly means to walk with Jesus in everyday life. Her messages were both accessible to young Adventurers and deeply meaningful to the adults in attendance, drawing on scripture, personal testimony, and practical steps of faith.

Set against the backdrop of Woodhouse Activity Park’s outdoor facilities, the Camporee offered children and families a rich programme of activities designed to nurture teamwork, creativity, and spiritual growth. From outdoor pursuits to craft activities and group worship, participants were immersed in an environment that brought the theme of walking with Jesus to life.

The 2025 SEC Adventurer Camporee is being celebrated as a landmark event — one that not only strengthened bonds between families and communities across the conference, but produced lasting spiritual fruit.
