Appeal Launched to Help Dubem Receive Life-Saving Kidney Transplant
While in her final year as a nursing undergraduate, Dubem is battling chronic kidney disease and for over a year she has depended on dialysis. Following the loss of her father, her mother bears the burden of the mounting medical expenses alone. Dubem has now reached a critical condition and is in desperate need of a kidney transplant.
The staff at Zenith Medical & Kidney Centre Abuja, Nigeria are working tirelessly to provide the care and treatment that she needs. The procedure will cost £37,000 (approx $50,000 USD), while this seems like a mountain to climb, local friends, family and the Nigerian church community have already raised £12,000! so we have £25,000 remaining.
