How do I return my tithe?

Gift Aid is a UK government initiative that allows charities like the Seventh-day Adventist Church to reclaim tax on donations made by UK taxpayers. This means that for every £1 you donate, we can claim an additional 25p from HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC), making your gift go even further at no extra cost to you. To qualify, you must have paid at least as much UK Income or Capital Gains tax in that year as the amount we will claim on your donation.

How do I register for Gift Aid

Register for Gift Aid

As a donor, you don’t need to claim Gift Aid yourself. Once you’ve registered and received your unique Gift Aid number from us, simply enter it in the designated field when making your donation. This helps us easily connect your donation with your Gift Aid information. After that, the Seventh-day Adventist Church will handle the process of claiming the tax relief on your eligible donations from HMRC. Please notify us if your tax status changes or if you no longer wish to participate in Gift Aid.
