A Step-by-Step Guide to Using the New 7me App

Two weeks ago, we introduced the 7me app to you, which provides an innovative way to enhance your church experience. This article will guide you through the simple steps of using the app, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for existing and new members.

Step 1: For pastors, church clerks and treasurers who already have access to ACMS, download the app and sign in using your ACMS login details. For everyone else who does not have access to ACMS, you will need to choose 'register' once you have downloaded the app.

If the email you use to register is already in ACMS, the app will automatically assign you to the church where you hold your membership. Otherwise, you can choose your church after you have created your login details.

Step 2: Once you have entered your name, email address and password and clicked 'confirm', you will be asked to choose your church if your email doesn't match the one in ACMS. A verification code will then be sent to the email address provided.

Step 3: Enter the 6-digit verification code in the app and wait for a message confirming the successful creation of your account. You will not be asked to choose a church if the email address and name match your ACMS details.

Step 4: Click 'Sign In'. It will prompt a message asking permission to allow 7me to use ACMS (7pass.org) and then click 'continue'.

Step 5: At this stage, you can consent to have your donations Gift Aided by ticking the relevant box and accepting the app's Terms and Conditions.

Step 6: Once you have signed in and are within the app, you will see a little profile icon on the bottom right of your screen. If the icon has a red notification dot next to it, you must click on that and complete your profile by adding your date of birth and phone number to allow the church clerk to identify and avoid any duplicate accounts. You can also add a profile picture if you wish. If you had to choose your church during registration, you would see a request bar at the top of your profile page, asking you to confirm if you believe you are a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Slide the toggle to confirm. If this request bar does not appear, then continue to complete the rest of your profile.

Step 7: Once you have added these details, click 'finish' and enjoy using the app!

Over the coming weeks, we will continue to provide you with more information and assistance to maximize your app experience. Should you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your 7me app admins, whose contact information is provided below:
