Downham Community SDA Church Brings Health and Wellbeing Outreach to Bromley
Downham Community Seventh-day (SDA) Church Health & Wellbeing Outreach was held on Sabbath, 26 September, at Bromley Shopping Centre, performing health checks for the community. The day was sunny and everyone was in a joyful spirit.
The Personal Ministries Department was involved in handing out Bibles, literature and books and witnessing, as members turned out in abundance.
The Community Services Department was overwhelmed with requests for cooked food, so much so that people were offering donations for food and water. A table with fruit was welcomed with gladness.
Both pastors, Steve Roberts and Christopher Williams, were very busy witnessing. Members were delighted to have them on board.
We give thanks to Almighty God and Jesus Christ for this wonderful privilege, using us to go out and spread the good news of salvation.
