Tottenham Lighthouse: Daniel & Revelation Seminar

The Tottenham Lighthouse Prayer Ministry is holding another Bible series, following the successful completion of the last one in December 2025, ‘Is the Bible Still Relevant in the 21st Century?’ This new Bible series is a ‘Daniel and Revelation Seminar’ held from 7:00 – 8:15pm every first Sunday of the month, starting in February and ending in May 2026. The dates are Sunday: 1 February, 1 March, 5 April and 3 May.

The speaker is Pastor Dr Robert Wright, Asst. Professor in the School of Religion and Theology at Northern Caribbean University (NCU), lecturing at both undergraduate and graduate levels. He is no stranger to us, as he participated in the last Bible series. Pastor Wright is also the Director of the Ellen G White SDA Research Centre at NCU.

It is a well-recognised fact, that studying the Bible and prayer cannot be separated. As we read the sacred pages of the Bible, we learn that our ultimate role model Jesus Christ, though sinless, made prayer a priority in His life. Mark 1:35 states, ‘And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.’ Before Jesus chose His 12 disciples, Luke the Physician who was attentive to details, pointed out something that Matthew and Mark had missed.  ‘And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles;’ Luke 6:12-13.

Studying Bible Prophecy gives us greater hope and trust in God who is Omniscient and Omnipotent. Nothing is hidden from Him. This should fuel our zeal to connect with our Saviour in prayer, to seek guidance from Him to interpret scripture and the prophecies revealed. This will give more urgency to our prayer life as it reinforces our faith and obedience ‘To the only wise God our Saviour…’ Jude 25
