Living the Gospel of Inclusion and Oneness

Faith leaders, residents and statutory partners gathered in Watford for a landmark Faith and Health Networking Board meeting convened by One Vision and hosted by Watford Synagogue. The event focused on prevention, early intervention and reducing health inequalities, highlighting the vital role faith communities play as trusted spaces of support. Speakers, including Enoch Kanagaraj BEM DL, local MP Matt Turmaine and public health leaders, emphasised that meaningful partnership between churches and public services is essential to building healthier, more inclusive communities across Hertfordshire.

Called to Serve

A series of Spirit-led music workshops titled “Sing When the Spirit Says Sing!” were conducted by Dr. Eurydice V. Osterman at Southall and Handsworth Seventh-day Adventist Churches. The sessions focused on the spiritual power of music in worship, offering biblical reflection, practical vocal instruction, and guidance on worship leadership. Participants engaged in congregational singing, prayer, and musical presentations, with the workshops emphasising the role of music as a tool for faith, ministry, and community building.

On 7 February 2026, the Channel Islands SDA Company – Guernsey Group celebrated its first-ever baptism. Pastor Nathan Stickland officiated, with support from Pastor Laszlo Liebhardt and local elders. The historic event marked a joyful milestone for the growing Adventist presence in the Channel Islands, which began as a house church in 2007.

From 7–17 January 2026, the South England Conference hosted Unleashed — a powerful 10 Days of Prayer series that brought together thousands of members across Zoom and YouTube. Led by churches from Areas 1 to 8 and featuring inspiring guest speakers including TED President Pastor Daniel Duda and SEC President Dr Kirk Thomas, the programme focused on the Holy Spirit’s power to transform lives.

SEC Prayer Ministries 10 Days of Prayer - Unleashed

From 7–17 January 2026, 26 Romanian Seventh-day Adventist churches across Europe united for an online “10 Days of Prayer” initiative, drawing over 500 daily participants from eight countries. Led by the London Romanian SDA District and partners from Italy, France, Germany, and Ireland, the event marked a powerful moment of cross-border fellowship and spiritual revival. With opening and closing messages from Union and Division leaders, churches have committed to meeting online three times a year and continuing joint initiatives to strengthen unity and mission.
