Death of Esnoraldo Enrique Duarte (8 September 1951 - 12 February 2023)

We share with sadness the news of the death of Pastor Esnoraldo Enrique Duarte, whose demise occurred on Sunday 12 February, after a period of illness.

Duarte entered denominational employment on 15 October 1977 in his native Colombia, where he worked before joining the South England Conference (SEC) on 1 July 2001 until his retirement in December 2021. Duarte received his education in Colombia before enrolling at Loma Linda University, where he obtained a master's degree in public health. During his employment with the SEC, he served the Hispanic and Portuguese congregations.

Duarte leaves behind his wife, Elvira and their two daughters, Elvira and Elizabeth.

Barnet SDA Church Brings Warmth and Care to Tally Ho Corner

On 20 December, Barnet Seventh-day Adventist Church’s Community Services team distributed 45 hygiene packs and hot drinks at Tally Ho Corner, Finchley, attracting interest from passers-by and offering support to those in need. The outreach also promoted the church’s Together We Thrive community space, providing meals, supplies, and companionship to visitors.
