Children's Holiday Bible Club, Tuesday - Camp Meeting 2019

No fear! That was the message Peter, fisherman and disciple, brought to the children. Peter explained how he was not frightened of many things, but one thing did scare him, and that was the storm on the Sea of Galilee. He said that one day, after he had caught nothing, Jesus came and helped him catch a huge amount of fish.

After that, he wasn’t afraid of anything, not even storms on the lake! Somehow, being in Jesus’ presence banished all his fears.

Peter said he was looking forward to what Jesus was going to show him this week. The children were encouraged, at the beginning of this year’s Holiday Bible Club, to enjoy the time of learning about Jesus, who can do so many things, including free us from our fears. After today’s evacuation due to a fire alarm, that message was even more relevant!
