Honouring Ghana’s Independence Day while embracing the church’s multicultural community, the event featured traditional attire, music, and a sermon by Elder Samuel Adjei-Owusu on authentic worship. A historical reflection on Ghana’s independence and a feast of Ghanaian cuisine followed. The celebration highlighted faith, unity, and the church’s role in supporting new migrants within the UK’s multicultural landscape.

On 20 February 2025, Beckton Maranatha Seventh-day Adventist Church partnered with St Mark’s Church of England to provide meals for the homeless. Led by the Women’s Ministries department, the initiative welcomed 15 guests for a warm dinner and takeaway food. Area 6C Women’s Ministries Coordinator, Sister Gina Boamah, joined volunteers in demonstrating Christ’s love through service.

Led by Pastors Bogdan Dumitru and Gabriel Ciocarlan under Watford Romanian SDA Church, the group meets every Sabbath at Sangam Centre, Burnt Oak.
