Renewed Marriage Enrichment Retreat 2025 – “Rekindle the Love”

From 3–5 October 2025, over 45 couples gathered at Staverton Park Hotel for the first joint NEC and SEC Marriage Enrichment Retreat. Under the theme Rekindle the Love, guest speakers Drs Robert and Denise Davis guided couples through sessions on emotional maturity, relationship dynamics, and family healing. The retreat combined biblical teaching, psychological insight, and heartfelt reflection, culminating in a joyful banquet and vow renewal ceremony.

ConnectED25, Faith, Tech and the Future: SEC and Newbold College Host Groundbreaking Outreach Conference

The connectED25 conference, themed Faith, Tech and the Future of Outreach, was held on 12 October 2025 at Newbold College. Organised by the SEC and Newbold’s Media and Communication Department, the event featured TED-style talks and workshops exploring AI, digital mission, music publishing, and design for outreach. Keynote speaker Pastor Joe Philpott and other experts inspired attendees to harness digital tools for faith-based connection, emphasising authenticity, relevance, and the Holy Spirit’s guidance.

Four baptised in Hackney’s Reignited and Restored Campaign

Four individuals were baptised at Hackney SDA Church following a two-week campaign (6–18 October 2025) led by guest speaker Pastor Cory Jackson. Under the theme Reignited and Restored, the series called for deeper commitment to Christ, culminating in powerful symbolic acts and heartfelt celebrations.

Joyful Reflections: Flower Festival at Stanborough Park Church Supports Rennie Grove Hospice

Stanborough Park Seventh-day Adventist Church hosted a spectacular Flower Festival from 3–5 October 2025, raising funds for the Rennie Grove Hospice. Organised by Chelsea Gold Medal Winner Audrey Balderstone Huzzey, the event featured 41 themed floral displays, a gala concert, and a Songs of Praise evening. The festival reflected community love, creativity, and Christian compassion.
