DR CHIDI RECEVES PRESITGIOUS AWARD

Friday 25 November 2016 saw people from many different walks of life congregate for the inaugural Leadership Awards in The May Fair Hotel, London. Leaders in business, charity, education, NGOs, health etc. were being honoured. Dr Chidi Ngwaba, was privileged to receive an honorary award in recognition of his inspirational work in the Prevention and Reversal of Lifestyle Diseases. Afterward Dr Chidi said, "It was truly a blessing and honour to receive such an award in leadership. It was clear that many of the guests and judges were keen to know more about what I do and how I do it. We thank the good Lord that He has blessed us with such wonderful gifts of health, healing, and hope."

Other recipients included the MD of John Lewis, a creative director from Channel 4 TV, and the longest serving nurse in the UK.

Dr Chidi serves the Church as the South England Conference Health Ministries director. He was also instrumental in the recent One Life campaign throughout London as the main health presenter.

Dr Chidi is a health and lifestyle medical doctor trained in surgery, general practice and lifestyle medicine at Cambridge, UCL and Johns Hopkins, USA. He seeks to reverse, improve or prevent many chronic illnesses including heart disease, cancer, arthritis and diabetes, with his unique programme 'Life Colours'. He has featured on Good Morning Britain, reviewing the papers on Sky News and a past speaker on TEDx talks at King's College London. Dr Chidi believes that our health is a wonderful gift that we have the ability to choose every day. That is why he is passionate about getting to the root causes of our chronic diseases by using the wealth of knowledge in lifestyle medicine, to transform illness into wellness.

Joyful Reflections: Flower Festival at Stanborough Park Church Supports Rennie Grove Hospice

Stanborough Park Seventh-day Adventist Church hosted a spectacular Flower Festival from 3–5 October 2025, raising funds for the Rennie Grove Hospice. Organised by Chelsea Gold Medal Winner Audrey Balderstone Huzzey, the event featured 41 themed floral displays, a gala concert, and a Songs of Praise evening. The festival reflected community love, creativity, and Christian compassion.
