Envision International Young Adults Conference 2025
The Envision (NVZN) International Young Adults Conference 2025 brought together 115 young adults from across the United Kingdom, Holland, Belgium and Germany for a weekend dedicated to worship, reflection, and community. The conference, running for its third year, took place October 23 – 26 at the tranquil Hays Wood Retreat in Kings Lynn, Norfolk, providing a peaceful setting that encouraged focus and reflection. The theme, “Contentment,” invited participants to consider what it means to live at peace with God’s plan in a world driven by comparison, pressure, and constant distraction.
From the opening session, there was a sense of purpose and focus in the room. Delegates arrived ready to learn, engage, and reflect on their own spiritual journeys. The Envision team created an environment that encouraged honesty and spiritual growth. Every session, conversation, and moment of worship highlighted one central message: contentment is not about having everything we want, but about trusting the One who provides everything we need.
A highlight of the weekend was the ministry of Dr. Wesley Knight and Minister Stephanie Knight. Their teaching combined biblical insight with practical guidance, and their openness made the message accessible to all. Their sessions provided space for questions, reflection, and personal application, helping young adults relate faith to their daily lives.
Dr. Wesley Knight reminded delegates that contentment is not about settling. “True happiness is not about settling,” he said. “It’s about being anchored, knowing who you are and whose you are, even if things don’t go exactly as you thought.” His words encouraged young adults to remain grounded in faith even when life unfolds differently than expected.
Elder Stephanie Knight added a perspective on gratitude. “When you stop looking at what everyone else has and learn to celebrate what God has already placed in your hands,” she said, “you begin living from a place of peace and contentment, not stress.” Her reflection resonated with many who recognised how comparison can easily undermine joy, and it reinforced the weekend’s theme in a practical way.
Throughout the weekend, delegates participated in breakout discussions and outreach activities inspired by Philippians 2:3-4, which emphasises considering the needs of others. These activities reminded participants that contentment often grows when we focus less on ourselves and more on serving those around us. They also encouraged reflection on relationships, priorities, and the ways faith can be expressed through everyday actions.
On the final day, delegates enjoyed a nature walk through the surrounding woods at Hays Wood Retreat. The walk offered space for quiet reflection and conversation, giving participants time to process the lessons of the weekend while surrounded by the calm of nature. Many described it as a chance to connect with both God and each other in a relaxed setting outside of formal sessions.
As the conference concluded, the atmosphere was one of gratitude and thoughtful reflection. Worship and prayer marked the final moments, reinforcing the idea that contentment is not found in possessions or control, but in trusting that God’s presence is enough in every circumstance.

NVZN 2025 offered young adults a dedicated space to pause, reflect, and engage with their faith in a meaningful way. It served as a reminder that true contentment does not come from having more or controlling every circumstance, but from trusting fully in God’s care and timing. The weekend encouraged delegates to approach life with confidence, grounded in the knowledge that God’s presence is enough, and to carry this perspective into their daily lives with clarity, faith, and renewed purpose.Stay connected and follow us on Instagram @weare.nvzn for updates and future events.
