Family Fun Day at Immanual Tamil SDA Church
By the grace of God Almighty, Immanual Tamil SDA Church, Wembley and World Tamils Historical Society, Oxford jointly organized a “Family Fun Day” programme on 2nd June, 2022. The vision of the programme was to reach out to the non-Christian and non-Adventist Tamil community, build a relationship with them and spread the love of Christ.
The programme was held at World Tamils Historical Society, Oxford. Some of the events organized were running race, squid game, tag rugby, musical chair, kilithattu (a traditional Tamil game), tug of war, bouncy castles and face painting.
Toddlers enjoyed playing on the bouncy castles while children and adults participated in the track and field events. A resuscitation training was also conducted by nurses from our church. At the end of the programme, winners of the events were honored with medals and certificates. A special gift along with the booklet entitled “8 Laws of Health” was handed over to each family. This event paved way to connect with 25 families.
