26 Romanian SDA Churches Across Europe Unite for “10 Days of Prayer” Online Event
From 7–17 January, the London Romanian Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) District, together with five other Romanian SDA churches from Italy, France, Germany, and Ireland, was part of the organising team for an online spiritual initiative titled “10 Days of Prayer,” held on Zoom. The event brought together 26 Romanian SDA churches from across Europe, with participants joining from England, Spain, France, Belgium, Ireland, Italy, Germany, and Austria. Each evening, around 500 people connected online to pray and worship together, making the initiative a significant moment of unity for the Romanian Adventist community in Europe. The event was officially opened by Pastor Aurel Neatu, President of the Romanian SDA Union, while the closing presentation was delivered by Pastor Florian Ristea, Director of Adventist Mission, Sabbath School, and Personal Ministries at the Inter-European Division.
The initiative for the 10 Days of Prayer developed after a joint Week of Prayer held in December 2025, which involved five Romanian SDA churches across Europe. Following that event, many other colleagues and churches expressed their interest in joining a future initiative. As a result, it was decided to organise the 10 Days of Prayer at the beginning of this year, which brought together 26 Romanian SDA churches from across Europe for a larger, united time of prayer and fellowship.
Due to the positive impact and strong participation, the churches involved agreed to continue meeting online three times per year and to organise a joint Week of Prayer at the end of each year, strengthening fellowship and cooperation among Romanian SDA churches across Europe.
