Abundance

Adventist Stewardship Ministries

We live in a world where complaining and dissatisfaction are often the default. We quantify 'our lack' rather than counting our blessings. And there is much in the 21st century to cause us continual moments of displeasure and discontent.

When we are asked, 'How are you?', our answer often reveals matters that cause us concern. And while authenticity is valid, as we seek to put GOD FIRST in our lives, praise and thanks for His abundance should be embodied in our demeanour and conversations.

It's reassuring to experience the continual blessings of our Father, God, who pours them on us 'in all things' and at all times so that we have 'all we need'. The consistency of His goodness is 'new every morning'. 'Great is Your faithfulness'.

This is the abundance we experience, not as a distant concept, but as a daily, hourly, minute-by-minute reality. It's the abundance we wake up to every morning, a reminder of God's constant presence in our lives.

Father, we are blessed beyond measure. Forgive us when our egos demand more than You already provide. Give us thankful hearts for lives that You clothe in abundance
