President Praises Romanian SDA Church in London for Community Impact

On December 16, 2025, the Romanian Seventh-day Adventist Church in London was invited, through its pastor Bogdan Dumitru, to attend the reception organized on the occasion of Romania’s National Day by the Embassy of Romania in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The invitation was extended by Her Excellency Mrs. Laura Popescu, Ambassador of Romania to the United Kingdom.

A special highlight of the event was the meeting with Mr. Nicușor Dan, President of Romania, who expressed his appreciation for the projects carried out by the Romanian Seventh-day Adventist Church in London and congratulated the church for representing Romania with dignity and honor in the United Kingdom. The President assured us of his personal appreciation and support for the work and mission of the church.

On this occasion, meaningful conversations also took place with Her Excellency the Ambassador and with other representatives of Romanian religious denominations in the UK, emphasizing the importance of faith, responsibility, and positive witness within the Romanian community in the diaspora.
