SEC Executive Secretary Breaks Down Walls at Area 1 Day of Fellowship
The Area 1 Day of Fellowship was held in St Austell on March 25th, bringing together around 100 members from different churches in Cornwall and Devon. The event featured SEC Executive Secretary, Pastor Douglas McCormac as the guest speaker, with singing and special musical items adding to the joyful atmosphere.
During his sermon, Pastor McCormac touched upon the physical walls we erect, as well as the figurative walls that divide our communities. He also spoke about how Jesus' sacrifice on the cross was meant to take down those walls and unite us all.
Later in the afternoon, Pastor McCormac discussed the Adventist Church as a global family. Attendees listened intently as he shared his personal experiences and insights.
