Urgent Prayers Needed

This afternoon, we learned that the Royal Family have gathered at Balmoral amid concerns for the Queen's health. As the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, we would like to extend our prayers to her and her family at this challenging time.

We live in uncertain times, where ill-health is no 'respecter of persons'. We acknowledge the challenges that Her Majesty faces at this time in her life, similar challenges that some of our members may be facing right now. We pray that God will grant peace to her and her family.

Serving with Love: A Tribute to Women at SDA East London Portuguese Church

The East London Portuguese SDA Church marked Sabbaths on 8 and 14 March 2026 with a Men’s Ministry-led initiative honouring women through service and appreciation. From breakfast to worship and fellowship, men led every aspect of the day, culminating in a message on women’s role in God’s mission. The programme highlighted gratitude, unity, and the importance of women in both church life and outreach.
