Love in Action: 2025 ADRA-UK Annual Appeal

2025 ADRA-UK Annual Appeal (29 March to 30 June 2025)

As a church that exemplifies Christ’s love in the community, we are reaching out to invite your support for the 2025 ADRA-UK Annual Appeal—a vital opportunity to extend hope, healing, and tangible help to those who need it most.

Your support will mean everything to someone in need—a family fed, a child educated, a community rebuilt. Let’s partner together to make the 2025 ADRA-UK Annual Appeal a powerful expression of God’s love in action.

At ADRA-UK (Adventist Development and Relief Agency), we believe love is more than words; it’s action. Each year, through the generosity of individuals and churches like yours, we are able to touch lives around the world, transforming despair into dignity. In 2024 alone, your contributions provided life-saving food, clean water, education, and healthcare to communities facing poverty and crisis. With your partnership in 2025, we can do even more.

 Why We Need Your Support

In a world where so many are struggling with the effects of conflict, climate change, and economic hardship, the work of ADRA has never been more urgent. The 2025 Appeal focuses on:

  • Ensuring Education: Giving children the chance to learn, grow and build a better future (in particular girls’ education).

  • Feeding Families: Delivering essential food supplies to those facing hunger.

  • Building Resilience: Empowering communities with skills, education, and resources to create sustainable futures.

  • Providing Safety: Supporting refugees, women, and children fleeing violence and persecution.

Funds raised will help communities in Myanmar, Nepal, Somalia, South Sudan, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Thailand, Zambia, the UK and more.

This year’s theme, “Love in Action”, reminds us of the practical ways we can embody Christ’s love by giving generously, just as He gave himself for us.

How You Can Help

We invite your church family to join us in these life-changing efforts. Here are three simple ways to get involved:

  1. Host a Special Offering: Dedicate a Sabbath to collect offerings for ADRA’s Annual Appeal.

  2. Organise Fundraising Events: Encourage members and friends to host bake sales, walks, or concerts to raise awareness and funds.

  3. Share the Message: Use church announcements, bulletins, and social media to inspire your congregation, friends and the community to give and pray for ADRA’s mission.

To make this easy, we can provide a range of resources, including posters, videos, and materials to help inspire your members.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss how your church can participate, please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@adra.org.uk or call us on 030 30 40 10 17.

Thank you for your faithfulness and for standing with us as we put love into action.

With heartfelt gratitude,
