Pastor Mario Phillip’s Passion for Nurturing Holloway’s Young People

At Holloway Seventh-day Adventist Church, Pastor Mario Phillip has a heartfelt mission, to see the church’s young people flourish. Recognising that meaningful relationships and intentional discipleship are key to their spiritual and personal growth, he has made it a priority to truly connect with them.

One of the ways Pastor Phillip achieves this is by dedicating time to engage with young people in a relaxed and informal setting. These gatherings provide a space where they can openly share their views, express their interests, and seek guidance in their decision-making. His approach is rooted in genuine care and a desire to understand their unique journeys, ensuring that they feel valued and supported within the church community.

By fostering these connections, Pastor Phillip and the Holloway Pastoral team are actively investing in the next generation of disciples. Their commitment goes beyond just offering advice - they walk alongside them, empowering them to develop a strong, personal faith. Through mentorship, encouragement, and active listening, Pastor Phillip and the Pastoral team are shaping a culture where young people not only grow spiritually but also develop confidence in their roles within the church and beyond.

As they continue this mission, their dedication serves as an inspiration, reinforcing the importance of relationship-building in discipleship. Holloway’s young people are not just the future of the church - they are its present, and with strong, caring leadership, they are being equipped to thrive.
