SEC Special Prayer Meeting Event

In a spiritually enriching gathering, over 700 individuals connected via Zoom and another 75 tuned in through the SEC YouTube channel on Wednesday night for the SEC Special Prayer Meeting. The event commenced with Pastor Kirk Thomas, the president of SEC, setting a positive tone for the evening.

This was followed by an inspiring prayer session led by Sister Linda Asare, who offered her heartfelt prayers and encouraged participants to share their personal spiritual journeys, creating an atmosphere of communal faith and support.

The highlight of the evening was Pastor Kirk's enlightening speech on the 'secrets of prayer', a topic that resonated deeply with the audience. He eloquently spoke on the critical need to be imbued with the Holy Spirit, citing two compelling reasons: gaining power over sin, as reflected in Galatians 5:16, and the empowerment to serve, as exemplified in Acts 1:8. His profound conclusion, "Unless you are not visiting the upper room, you cannot deal with the outside room," left a lasting impact on the attendees.

The engagement and positive response from the participants were palpable, underscoring the message's profound reception. The prayer meeting reached its zenith with three powerful prayers led by Pastors Otis Lewis, Michael Salmon, and the recently retired Keith Boldeau. The final prayer, delivered with deep commitment by Pastor Kirk Thomas, beautifully encapsulated the evening's spiritual essence.

This memorable event, marked by deep reflection and communal prayer, reinforced the power of faith and the importance of spiritual connection within the SEC community.
