The SEC and the British Union Conference (BUC) work together to provide a range of resources and training for individuals and churches, including:
• SEC Resources: Focused on local implementation and contextual guidance for churches within the South England Conference.
• BUC Resources: Comprehensive policies and templates for safeguarding across the British Union.
• Safeguarding policies, procedures, and forms.
• Training programmes to help leaders and members develop safer church environments.
• Guidance on safer recruitment practices, including DBS checks.
• Access to safeguarding blogs, webinars, and other learning tools to stay informed about best practices.

Every church within the Conference has a Designated Safeguarding Person (DSP) to assist with local safeguarding matters. For specific support, you can contact the local church’s DSP directly.
