Downham Community SDA Church Marks 20th Anniversary
Downham Community Seventh-day Adventist Church celebrated its 20th Anniversary with a Thanksgiving Service on 18 July 2026. The church was blessed to see so many people turn out in their numbers.
SEC President, Pastor Kwesi Moore, preached from 1 Samuel, reflecting on how the Lord had led Israel. Our source and confidence are in the Lord. It is He who has led us, and we must set up our Ebenezer and move forward in faith.
Pastor Simeon Esson interceded on behalf of the church with prayer.
Pastor Steve Roberts, Downham’s resident pastor, thanked God for every leader and member whose faithful service has advanced His work.
Special messages of reflection and commitment were sent to the church, for which the members are thankful.
It was a joyful occasion, looking back at photos and a timeline of leaders, rounding off with lunch and an evening celebration with singing.
