Hampstead SDA Family Ministries Day Highlights Faith and Relationships
Hampstead Seventh-day Adventist Church celebrated Family Ministries Day last Sabbath, 13 June 2026. Worship Leader Elder Joan Saddler introduced the main service, which was followed by the children delivering a brilliant welcome poem.
The Family blessed the audience with an uplifting rendition of Because of Who You Are. Sis Nayateh Gitua presented a captivating children’s story on how children can make the world a happier place.
Keith Rodrigues gave a melodic trumpet solo, Love at Home. The distinctive tone of the trumpet was showcased and ably accompanied by pianist Carolyn Daniel.
Dr Ackie, BUC Children’s, Family and Possibilities Ministries Director, delivered a thought-provoking, inspirational, and engaging message which connected well to everyday life. The sermon was entitled Above All Else and focused on a superhero in the Bible: Samson. Samson lacked emotional intelligence; he chose to be led by his feelings.
The AYS programme was led by the young ladies and included a presentation by Bro Hilton Samuel entitled Before You Say “Yes” – How to Know if This Is the Right One: A Biblical Dating Guide.
