Eye Opening Daniel & Revelation Seminar at Tottenham Lighthouse
On Sunday, 1 February 2026, Tottenham Lighthouse held the first of four Daniel and the Revelation Seminars. They will be held every first Sunday of the month from February to May 2026 from 7:00 – 8:15pm, presented by Pastor Dr Robert Wright, Asst. Professor in the School of Religion and Theology at the Northern Caribbean University. If you have missed the first seminar, you cannot afford to miss the second session on the 1st March. One person commented on the seminar, ‘Beautiful and highly informative… I learnt a lot from the session. Another person said, ‘It was an eye opener for me.’
The seminar on the 1 February focused on Daniel Chapter 2. Pastor Wright stated that Daniel chapter 2 spoke clearly to an end time attempt by powerful forces at re-establishing a unified Roman, global empire. It also pointed to the certainty of Christ’s coming. He further commented that of all the elements that made up the image, Daniel was more interested in feet and toes of iron and clay and the stone that plunged into the feet crushing the entire image.
We learnt that the original post-war vision of the European Economic Community, from which the European Union evolved, was primarily the brainchild of three Catholic leaders: Konrad Adenauer (Germany), Robert Shuman (France) and Alcide de Gasperi (Italy). Pastor Wright explained how in 1951 the Treaty of Paris created the European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC), signed by Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands & Luxemburg. In March 1957, these same six nations signed the Treaty of Rome, creating –The European Atomic Energy Community (EAEC) and & European Economic Community (EEC). In 1958 the European Parliament was established. In 1967 the ECSC, EAEC, & EEC were merged to form the European Community (EC). In 1993 the Maastricht Treaty made obsolete the Treaty of Rome. It established the goals of a common currency, a common judiciary, a common foreign policy, and a common military. The result was the European Union (EU). By January 2007, 27 countries had joined. This made a total EU population of 446 million, creating one of the largest economic blocs in the world.
Pastor Wright explained that what we see happening now in the EU is the fulfillment of the ‘mingling’. This is the precursor to the global confederacy of nations predicted in Revelation 17. He stated that the uniting of Europe is a part of a grand design to unite the world under a ‘New World Order.’ It is an attempt at replicating the Tower of Babel scenario. Is it any wonder that the end time global religio-political system is called Babylon? Revelation 17 is about what is happening right now. The nations of the world will give their sovereignty to the Beast. The stage is set for this grand global union.
The wounded Beast of Revelation 13 is the same power as the divided kingdom of Daniel 2. The Revelator tells us that the wound would heal and that the world would ‘wonder after the beast.’ Rev 13:3. The Beast Power of Rev. 13 & 17 is the same Roman Power as that represented by the legs and feet of iron and clay of Daniel chapter 2. With the resurrection of the Beast, comes the revival of the church/state union and the imposition of her oppressive doctrines, including Sunday Law. Pastor Wright shared this quote from The Trumpet.com, Nov. 18, 2008. “The Catholic Church wants Sunday enshrined in EU law. The European Parliament is debating changes to its Working Time Directive. The Vatican wants a clause in this law that would force all citizens of the European Union to rest on Sunday.”
Will the framers of the New World Order succeed in bringing the world together? Scripture is clear: “…but they will not [cleave] adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay. And in the days of these kings [kingdoms] the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed…it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.” Daniel 2: 43, 44.
