SEC Trustees Training Weekend
Last weekend (8th -10th November 2019), whilst the BUC Evangelism and Discipleship and Mission Summit was being held at the Jury’s Inn Hotel, Hinckley Island, in a side room of the Hotel a small group gathered to prepare for the next four years to serve as Trustees for the SEC.
Presentations were given by Pastors Ian Sweeney and John Surridge, the BUC treasurer, Earl Ramharacksingh and the Conference Solicitor Mrs Edwina Turner.
Everything from Church policy, financial management and the Charity Governance Code was discussed and shared, as well as a glimpse of the strategic direction in which the Conference is to move during this quadrennium. It was a time of learning, fellowship and prayer.
