Stanborough Secondary School Heeds on Side of Caution

PRESS RELEASE

Stanborough Secondary School, in recognising the need to put the safety of its pupils and staff as a main priority, have decided to close the school today (Thursday 12 March) as advised by the NHS as a precaution against a 'suspected' case of Coronavirus within its vicinity. Parents have been told to collect their children today and will be informed of further developments by interim headteacher Kaz James.

Serving with Love: A Tribute to Women at SDA East London Portuguese Church

The East London Portuguese SDA Church marked Sabbaths on 8 and 14 March 2026 with a Men’s Ministry-led initiative honouring women through service and appreciation. From breakfast to worship and fellowship, men led every aspect of the day, culminating in a message on women’s role in God’s mission. The programme highlighted gratitude, unity, and the importance of women in both church life and outreach.
