Waymaker Revival Series at Welling Church Concludes with Youth Baptisms

We need a revival in our souls

In recognition of this heartfelt need, Welling Church hosted a powerful revival series under the banner of Waymaker, from 22 to 28 June 2025. It was a Spirit-filled week that stirred hearts and lifted lives.

Pastor Ebenezer Jones-Lartey, with thoughtful insight and a deep passion for God, shared the Word in a way that was both personal and profound. Through his messages and testimonies, he reminded us how God has always been, and continues to be, his Waymaker, Promise Keeper, and Light in the darkness.

We were especially blessed by Pastor Jones-Lartey’s keynote address on Sabbath, 28 June, titled:

“The Plot to Kill Lazarus.”

From this powerful message, Pastor made thought-provoking declarations:

“Do not prevent the one who is revived from being active in the work of God.”

“It is crazy to try to kill the one who has been raised by God.”

Rooted in scripture, we were reminded of the truths that God will never fail nor forsake His people. He is indeed the Waymaker, leading us through darkness into light.

The series culminated in the baptism of five precious young people: Adilson, Blessing, Kyria, Nishaye, and Victor.

The service was not only beautiful in the reality and emotions that it invoked for the love of God, but in knowing that these precious souls are all under the age of 15 years. They had made their own decision to surrender all to Jesus.

Interlinked with every song and every scripture (read by a sibling) was the awesomeness and personal love of God to each one.

Kyria’s family, with touching harmonies, sang “Take Me to the King”, a moment that filled the sanctuary with reverence.

The service concluded with rapturous singing by the congregation, echoing the joy of heaven and the power of revival.

May the Spirit of revival continue to transform and reform us, shaping us into new people; ready for the Kingdom of God.
