Youth Service, Wednesday - Camp Meeting 2019

Today at Camp Meeting the young adults spent time reflecting on how to live their best lives. Fabrice Baker-Livingstone continued her series of workshops, preparing young people to understand their personalities so they can move forward in their purpose.

The afternoon was spent preparing care packages for rough sleepers in the town of Rhyl. The young people worked together to emblazon messages of love and hope on to canvas bags, and then fill the bags with socks, underwear, sweet treats and a book on hope. They then headed into town to a local homeless shelter where they presented the bags to staff and invited them to attend the Sabbath evening concert.

During the evening service, Ps Dewaine Frazer expounded upon God turning the bitter water at Mara into sweet water of life for the Israelites. He encouraged the young adults to hang on during their seasons of bitterness, trusting that God is waiting to turn bitterness into sweetness.
