Over 150 Gather in Watford for “Judgement Set Aside by Mercy” Prayer Conference

St Luke’s Church in Watford became a sacred meeting ground on Saturday, 21st June, as over a hundred attendees — primarily mothers — participated in a powerful all-day prayer conference hosted by Mothers at Prayer (MAP). The event, titled Judgement Set Aside by Mercy, offered a spiritually rich programme brimming with worship, teaching, personal testimonies, and heartfelt intercession.

The day began with uplifting worship, followed by soul-stirring teaching and reflection led by Pastor Ayodeji Adesina, Pastor Linda Asare, and a team of anointed prayer leaders. From the main sanctuary to intimate breakout spaces, participants lifted their voices and hearts in prayer on matters ranging from financial struggles to co-parenting challenges.

A highlight of the day was the appearance of Parent Champions Elaine and Dennis from Islington. Dennis shared a deeply moving personal story of motherhood, courage, and faith. Her testimony — and others like it — underscored themes of healing, protection, and divine provision.

Special sessions included a beautiful Yoruba spoken word ministration by Sister Seun Atejioye, offered in adulation of God, and a double anointing service that provided moments of spiritual renewal and release.

One of the most memorable moments came when Sister Toyin Dare Aworinde officially dedicated her book From the Mouth of a Mother to the Ears of God. Attendees celebrated the offering as a timely gift — a guide to personal and corporate prayer rooted in divine insight. Many testified to the clarity and structure the book provides for navigating prayer with purpose and confidence.

MAP’s vibrant gathering left attendees deeply encouraged — with hearts lifted, faith renewed, and community strengthened.
