Prison Ministries Events Inspire Faith and Outreach at Southall and Chiswick churches

Two powerful and spiritually transformative Prison Ministries Day events were held in Southall and Chiswick on consecutive Sabbaths, with Southall's event on 24 August 2024 and Chiswick's on 31 August 2024. These events were brought to life through the dedication and leadership of our ministerial colleagues, Steve Thomas and Berhanu Tsehaye, whose vision allowed these important gatherings to take place. The days were filled with meaningful interactions, deep engagement, and a powerful sense of purpose, as the realities of prison ministries were brought to light.

Both events featured insightful and interactive presentations led by the prison ministries teams. In Southall, Brother Ronald Jones led a powerful discussion about the challenges and opportunities within prison ministries, shedding light on the often misunderstood nature of this vital outreach. Meanwhile, in Chiswick, Sister Donna Pusy and her team delivered an equally compelling session, illustrating the transformative power of God’s love in the lives of those behind bars.

From beginning to end, both the Southall and Chiswick events were filled with enthusiasm and participation. The atmosphere was engaging from the moment the programmes started, with many attendees expressing a desire to keep going even when the events concluded at 8 PM. The members were deeply immersed in the presentations, discussions, and testimonies, revealing a strong interest in learning more about prison ministries and their real-world impact.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Brother Ronald Jones, his wife, and his entire team in Southall, as well as Sister Donna Pusy and her team in Chiswick, for their dedication and hard work in making these events a reality. Their leadership on the ground was vital to the success of the days. Additionally, special appreciation goes out to those working tirelessly behind the scenes, including Alex, Barbara, Manley, and his wife, whose efforts ensured that every aspect of the day ran smoothly. Their contributions helped create an environment of learning, support, and deep spiritual engagement.
