Romanian Church Baptism

On Sabbath 15 December 2018, at East London Romanian Adventist church, nine people decided to give their lives to Jesus, eight of whom were through baptism and one through profession of faith. Six candidates were from London Romanian, one from Watford Romanian and two from East London Romanian church.

The programme began with hymns of praise for our Lord followed by a worship service led by Pastor Sorin Petrof. He reminded us "there is one Lord and one true message that we must believe. There is one baptism." (Ephesians 4:5) He shared that the true happiness brought by these nine people to the church, but more so to heaven, is indescribable. They have the will to work and serve God, which is the most important aspect of being a Christian.

Today the Romanian church continues to grow. Statistically, every year, more than 20 people decide to be baptised. This baptism was the second one held in our churches in 2018. Every Saturday more than 200 people attend the service at London Romanian, 100 at Watford Romanian and 120 at East London Romanian church.

We are thankful to the South England Conference for their support and above all, we want to thank God for His work in people's lives and hearts.
